Roe Drifters are a simple egg yarn style pattern tied on a tube. All you do is thread on your line and add your own bait or octapus hook. These can be effectively fished under our Dropper Jigs or alone like you would eggs, baits or corkies. We consider these a more finesse style pattern when water conditions are low and or clear. The bigger versions we call Salmon also catch a hell of a lot of Steelhead…are should not be over looked when casting about. The 1” salmon size seem to migrate towards Alaska waters were they have earned a reputation all to their own. But…these work just as well for STEELHEAD as Salmon.
